Podcast Player Settings

To find Podcast Player settings, follow these steps:
- Open Sofa
- Tap the ••• button in the top right and select Settings
- Tap Podcast Player
Listen to Podcasts in Sofa
This is a global setting that enables or disables the podcast player feature in Sofa.
- If turned on, Sofa will automatically fetch and download new episodes for Podcasts you have saved across all lists. This will also allow you to listen to podcast episodes.
- If turned off, all podcast player features will be disabled.
Hide “Up Next” When Empty
Be default, if you don’t have any episodes to listen to in “Up Next”, it will be hidden from the home page. If you prefer, you can turn this setting off, and “Up Next” will always be shown on the home screen.
Playback Settings
These settings control the playback buttons for the podcast player.

| Seek Back By | The amount seconds to go back while listening to a podcast |
| Seek Forward By | The amount seconds to go forward while listening to a podcast |
| Playback Speed | The speed at which a podcast plays |
| When Finished | When an episode completes playback, you can choose what to do with it: Add it to the Logbook or simply mark it as played. |
Episode Limit
The number of episodes that should be kept in “Up Next” for each podcast. Older episodes will be removed when new episodes are published.
If an episode is “Currently Playing” it will not automatically be removed.
Files & Storage
Manage Storage
When you’ve finished listening to an episode, the downloaded audio file will be deleted from your device.

Auto-Download New Episodes
- If turned on, audio files will automatically be downloaded for offline listening.
- If turned off, audio files will be downloaded when you start listening to an episode.
Use Cellular Data
- If turned on, cellular data will be used to download audio files for offline listening.
- If turned off, audio files will only be downloaded when your device is connected to a wifi network.

Your Data
Podcast data is easy to get in and out of Sofa.
- Import an OPML file from another podcast player
- Export an OPML file and import it into another podcast player
