Multi-Select and Bulk Actions

Need to mark a bunch of movies as watched or move several items to another list? Multi-select lets you pick multiple items and act on them all at once.
Entering Multi-Select Mode
- Open any list
- Tap ••• in the top right
- Tap “Select Items”
The interface switches to selection mode — you’ll see selection circles on each item, a toolbar at the bottom, and a “Select All” button in the top left.
Selecting Items
Tap items to select or deselect them. The navigation bar shows a count of how many items are selected (e.g., “3 Selected”). Use “Select All” to grab everything, or “Deselect All” to start over.
Available Actions
Once you’ve selected items, five actions appear in the toolbar:

| Mark Complete | Sends all selected items to the Logbook |
| Move to List | Moves items to a list you choose |
| Copy to List | Copies items to another list (originals stay) |
| Pin / Unpin | Pins items to the top of the list (or unpins them) |
| Remove | Deletes selected items (with confirmation) |
Section Awareness
Sofa prevents you from accidentally mixing items from different sections. You can’t select pinned and regular items at the same time, or regular and completed items. If you try, Sofa will let you know with a friendly message.
