Import a Sofa Backup

Sofa allows you to import your data via a Sofa backup file (.sofabackup). Doing this will replace all existing data in the app. Please make sure you 🔄Backup your Data before doing this.

How to Import a Sofa Backup

🚨 Importing a backup file will delete all existing data in the app and replace it with data from the imported file.

1. Navigate to Settings > Data Management
2. Scroll to the Import section and tap the “Import Sofa Backup” button
3. Choose the .sofabackup file you’d like to import. Remember these are the only files you can import.
4. Tap the “Start Import” button to confirm.
5. If you use multiple devices, the newly imported data may take some time to sync across them.
